Jamie Kennedy

Jamie Kennedy, a multitalented comedian-actor-writer-producer, is a true hyphenate. He may be seen acting in a film one minute and on stage doing stand up the next. Kennedy skyrocketed to fame with a groundbreaking performance and scene-stealing rants in Wes Craven’s Scream and Scream 2. In September of 2008, Kennedy’s documentary which he produced with Michael Addis called Heckler, was released. Heckler is a comedic feature documentary exploring the increasingly critical world we live in and asks some interesting questions of people such as Jon Voight, George Lucas, Bill Maher, Mike Ditka, Rob Zombie and many more.

Kennedy was last seen on the big screen in his starring roles in Yari Film Group’s Kickin’ It Old Skool, and the Warner Bros. film Malibu’s Most Wanted. He will next be seen in the upcoming films, Finding Bliss, and Spring Break ’83. In 2002, Kennedy triumphed on the WB when he created the hit show “The Jamie Kennedy Experiment.” In the summer of 2006 Kennedy also brought “Blowin’ Up” to the small screen; a comedic reality series for MTV. Kennedy also conquered the book market with the release of his autobiography “Wannabe…A Hollywood Experiment” in the summer of 2003. Kennedy has appeared in a number of other films, including Romeo + Juliet, As Good As It Gets, Three Kings, Bowfinger and Boiler Room, and many more.

Raven

“The neverending saga in … the overall story of the loner, the slacker, the tortured soul known as Raven, who craves acceptance yet destroys it once he achieves it.” – Paul Heyman, Prodigy Chat, 1997.

That’s ECW founder Paul Heyman’s succinct description of the richest element of the success of ECW at its incept. Raven, as personified & created by Scott Levy, is perhaps professional wrestling’s most complicated and well-drawn character ever.

The most unique aspect of the Raven character is that his story has transcended multiple promotions yet continues the same story begun in a summer camp years before when a girl came between two best friends and changed all their lives forever; how one must face their demons again & again to try & gain the upper hand yet lose that comeuppance in a neverending cycle of pain and retribution.

An Evening with Sky Sands

What people are saying about SKY …

“Spectacular!”
“Mesmerizing…Better than a hot fudge sundae, and won’t end up on your shirt!”
“Zany, Fun and Unique!”
“A Funny and Illusional talent with a Hallucinogenic effect.”
“Skates on the other side of the ice.…” “Sassy man of illusion.”
“A man with the most interesting perception of life that I have ever known!”

Made to wear polyester at the age of two and raised by a pack of savage (yet witty) Amway salesmen, Sky Sands developed a bizarre and unique sense of humor at an early age.

Mixing magic, audience participation, impressions and fast-paced improvisation (He has been clocked at speaking 102 words per minute…139 with gusts!) one would not call what Sky does a “show”, but rather “a unique experience.”

Sky performs nationally, as well as abroad, headlining comedy clubs, colleges, corporate events and has been featured on Cinemax & Showtime Networks, VH-1 and MSNBC. Also featured on America’s Funniest People.

Among others, Sky has also received “The Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award” for his participation with WXXI’s Public Broadcast “REACH OUT RADIO”

Luenell
May 31 @ 7:30 pm
Luenell

Luenell is a force of nature. This talented comedienne, actress and singer, was born in Tollette, Arkansas, a town whose population barely registers with the U.S. census. At the tender age of 10, she caught the acting bug after seeing the plays South Pacific and Ain’t S’posed to Die a Natural Death. She enrolled in theatre classes at the grade school level and continued to study through college and cut her teeth at the Oakland Ensemble Theatre.

These days, Luenell’s life is on track. Her star continues to rise due to her appearances in television, film and music videos.  Best known for her breakthrough role as the “hooker with the heart of gold” in the blockbuster comedy of 2006 “Borat” – Luenell is recognized by both mainstream AND urban sectors of the population. Her two-year tour and DVD appearances in “Katt Williams American Hustle” have created an almost cult-like following.

Luenell had an amazing 2012 with appearances in three #1 feature films – “Think Like A Man” with Arielle Kebell and Meagan Good, 3D animated hit “Hotel Transylvania” with Adam Sandler, and “Taken 2” with Liam Neeson. She also starred in the hilarious comedy “That’s My Boy” with Adam Sandler and Leighton Meester.

Luenell hasn’t been short on television appearances either with recent episodes of “The Middle” and “Always Sunny In Philadelphia,” as well as stand-up appearances on “Snoop Dog’s Bad Girls of Comedy” on SHOWTIME and “Stand-up In Stilettos” on the TV Guide Network.

Luenell is living her dream.  With such an intriguing past, one would wonder how can she be so funny, but it’s just that…life.  Her reputation as a comic superstar continues to flourish, “…comedy demolition machine” (EURweb report) “a sidesplitting high wired act without a net…” (Scoop LA), “…comedy to die for.” (Metro LA)  “…one of the top 25 funniest people in LA (Los Angeles Magazine) and the accolades continue to roll.
